3rd International Congress on Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus

At this year’s event, which will be held under the theme “Impact and Management of BVD Virus in Cattle,” international experts will discuss strategies to control this disease and mitigate its impact on livestock.

Next August 28 at 6:00 PM, the 3rd International Congress on Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus  (BVDV) will take place remotely and in free format and will be broadcast live on the Vetanco Latin America YouTube channel. The topics to be discussed will be field management tools, impact on reproduction, and immunosuppression caused by BVDV.

“The goal of this new edition of the Congress is to disseminate knowledge about the consequences of the BVD Virus and control strategies to mitigate its impact on local livestock production. This virus, present in 90% of livestock establishments, causes over 42,000 abortions annually and is a potent immunosuppressor,” said the coordinators.
